Summer Fun in the Mile High Sun

This summer there is a handful of great concerts to grace the Mile High City. Here’s your guide my top picks. With attention getting names like Ludacris, Fabolous, Trey Songz, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tech N9ne, Drake, Rihanna and Pitbull, there is something for any fan. So get out your Sunblock, make sure you have some fresh white kicks, and get ready to party.



- Summer Jam –

This year’s Summer Jam has a monster line-up; Ludacris, Trey Songs, Fabolous, The Dream, Lil Jon, New Boyz, Jay Sean, and Taio Cruz. Summer Jam of course is always at the crunkest venue in Denver, The Comfort Dental Amphitheatre. The concert goes down June 11th and tickets go on sale May 11th. Go to ks107.5 for more info.




-Mile High Music Festival-

The Mile High Music Festival is a two-day, five-stage event happening in downtown Denver on August 14th and 15th. The headlining acts in this year’s line-up are; Steve Miller Band, Slightly Stoopid, Nas, Damian Marley, Cyprus Hill, Weezer, Atmosphere and Z-Trip. The Mile High Music Festival is held on the pristine grass soccer fields that surround Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. -Drake-

This is going to be there first time Drake has gone on tour by himself, thankfully he decided to make a stop in D-town. Drake comes on May 17th to the Ogden in Denver. Go to ks1075 for more info.







-50 Cent’s Invitation Tour-


50 Cent has been touring in Europe for what seems like years, but he made his return the US of A. 50 makes his stop in Denver on June 1st at the Fillmore Auditorium. Oh yea, and he’s bringing a special guest, Lloyd Banks, AKA Blue Hefner. This is like a 2 for 1 special. Go to ticketmaster for more info.
